7.25.0.1067 Release Notes - 17 August 2026

This guide describes an issue that was fixed in LogRhythm SIEM version 7.25, as well as the upgrade procedure from 7.25.0 to 7.25.0.1067.

The updated components provided in 7.25.0.1067 were added to the 7.25.0 GA release downloads on 17 August 2026. If you upgraded using 7.25.0 GA software downloaded after 17 August, you do not need to apply this patch.

AIE Rules with regex filters modified using the Client Console in LogRhythm SIEM version 7.25 are now correctly processed by the AI Engine.

Issues marked with an asterisk (*) were listed as “Known Issues” in the 7.25.0 GA Release Notes. These Known Issues are now considered to be resolved.

LogRhythm Client Console Components

If you were already operating on LogRhythm SIEM version 7.25.0, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Community.

  2. On the main menu bar, hover over New Releases, and then click LogRhythm Platform.

  3. Click LogRhythm SIEM, and then click LogRhythm SIEM Downloads.

  4. Scroll past the Upgrade Packages section, and then download the Client Console Installer.

  5. Run LRConsole_64_7.25.0.1067.exe to install the updated Client Console.

LogRhythm SIEM Components

If you are upgrading to LogRhythm SIEM version 7.25.0 for the first time, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Community.

  2. On the main menu bar, hover over New Releases, and then click LogRhythm Platform.

  3. Click LogRhythm SIEM, and then click LogRhythm SIEM Downloads.

  4. Under 7.25 Downloads, download the LogRhythm Install Wizard.

  5. Run the LogRhythm Install Wizard as normal.

Fix AI Engine Rules Created in LogRhythm SIEM 7.25.0.1066

This resolved defect affected any AI Engine rule-block filters using regex that were created in the Client Console with the LogRhythm SIEM Client Console version 7.25.0.1066 (this is the version that was available upon General Availability of LogRhythm SIEM 7.25.0).

Any rules modified with regex filters created on this version of the LogRhythm SIEM must be adjusted after installing this patch so that they will function properly. Rules/Rule-Block Filters not utilising regex, or Rules/Rule-Block Filters that have not been modified since upgrading to 7.25.0 are not impacted.

  1. Update your LogRhythm Client Console to version 7.25.0.1067 on all systems where you perform administrative functions.

  2. Open the LogRhythm Client Console.

  3. Navigate to Deployment Manager.

  4. Click the AI Engine tab.

  5. Open the Rule Properties of the impacted rule.

If you are unsure which rules, if any, have been modified since upgrade to LogRhythm SIEM version 7.25.0, review the rule modification history since upgrade via [LogRhythmEMDB].[dbo].[AIERule_SHADOW]

  1. Open the Rule Block Properties of any rule blocks using regex filtering.

  2. Open the filter which is impacted, and remove the individual line item using the Remove Filter button.

  3. Re-add the item that was just removed by using the Add Item block with the regex option checked.

  4. Click Add Item.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Navigate back to AIE Rule Builder and save the changes to the rule.

  7. Repeat as necessary for all affected rules.
