Import and Export Layouts



  1. On the main toolbar of Personal Dashboard or Investigate, click Layouts.

  2. Click Manage Layouts.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Import

      1. Right-click the grid, click Actions, and then click Import. You will be prompted to select a file for import. Personal Dashboard layouts must be .DLT files and Investigator layouts must be .ILT files.

      2. Select the layout to import and click Open.

    • Export

      1. Select the Action check box of the layout you want to export. Multiple layouts can be exported at one time.

      2. Right-click the grid, click Actions, and then click Export. You will be prompted to select a folder to save the file. The file is saved automatically with the name of the layout plus the appropriate extension: .DLT for Personal Dashboard layouts and .ILT for Investigator layouts.

      3. Select a folder and click OK.
        An export confirmation message appears.
