User Account Page

Only Administrators can take this action.

To access the user account page for a specific user:

  1. In the lower-left corner of the main screen, click the Administration cog icon.
    The Administration menu appears on the left side. By default, the Users page appears showing the list of users in alphabetical order.
  2. In the users list table, click the user display name for the user whose account page you want to view.
    The user account page appears.

    The user account page is available for enabled and disabled users. This page cannot be accessed for users with an account status of Invited because they have not completed the enrollment process.

Account Details

The Account Details tab appears by default. It shows the following information:

Role

The role assigned to the user.

Account Status

The status of the user account.

Last LoginThe date and time when the user last logged in.
Added ByThe display name of the administrator account that created the user account.
Added OnThe date and time when the user account was created.
User IDAn alpha-numeric code representing the user account.

Profile

To view the user's profile, click the Profile tab. The Profile tab shows the following information:

Full NameThe user's full name.
Display Name

The display name used within the LogRhythm system.

The Display Name is a required field.

TitleThe user's job title.
DepartmentThe user's department.
CompanyThe user's company.
EmailThe user's email.
PhoneThe user's phone number.
  1. To edit the user's profile, click Edit Profile on the right side of the page. 
    The Edit Profile dialog box appears.
  2. Edit the profile fields you want to update, and then click Save.

Available Actions on the User Account Page

These actions can also be accessed on the Users list page by opening the three-dot menu of the user you wish to edit.

Disable an active user account.

In the upper-right corner, click Actions, and then click Disable Account.

Force the user to reset their password.

In the upper-right corner, click Actions, and then click Force Password Reset.

Change the user's role assignment.

For more information, see Change Role Assignment.

In the upper-right corner, click Actions, and then click Change Role Assignment.
