Force Password Reset

Only Administrators can take this action.

  1. In the lower-left corner of the main screen, click the Administration cog icon.
    The Administration menu appears on the left side. By default, the Users page appears showing the list of users in alphabetical order.
  2. Click the user display name for the user whose password you want to reset.
    The user account page appears.
  3. On the upper-right side of the screen, click Actions, and then click Force Password Reset.
    The Force Password Reset dialog box appears.
  4. To force a password reset for the user, click Yes, Reset.

    The user is automatically logged out of the system, and an email is sent to the user with a password reset link. The reset link is valid for 30 minutes.
