The Symantec Cloud Secure Web Gateway (formerly known as the Web Security Service, or WSS) is the cloud-based portion of the Symantec Secure Web Gateway. Cloud SWG is a network security service that offers protection against advanced threats, provides access control, and safeguards critical business information for secure and compliant use of cloud applications and the web.

Symantec Cloud SWG Beat Portal Configuration Requirements

The following items are required to configure the Symantec Cloud SWG Beat through the web portal:

• Username. A username generated by the Cloud SWG API Credential Generator.

• Password. A password generated by the Cloud SWG API Credential Generator.
