Delete Custom Log Source Types

  You must be logged in as an Administrator to take this action.

1. On the main toolbar, click Deployment Manager.

2. On the Tools menu, click Knowledge, and then click Log Source Type Manager.
   The Log Source Type Manager appears.

3. Select a Log Source Type.

4. Right-click it, and then click Delete.

   If Log Source Type = System, it has been defined by LogRhythm and cannot be modified or removed.

   
   

   You cannot delete any Log Source Types assigned to existing Log Message Sources and Rules.
