Move Log Sources to New Hosts

 You must be logged in as an Administrator to take this action.

1. On the main toolbar, click Deployment Manager.

2. Click the Log Sources tab.

3. In the lower grid, select the Action column of all the log sources you want to move.

4. Right-click the selection, click Actions, and then click Move.

5. At the confirmation prompt, click Yes.
   The System Monitor Host Selector window appears.

6. Select an Entity Filter to populate the System Monitor Host list.

   When a Log Source is moved from one Entity to another Entity, the data from the first Entity is not deleted. Running a Report at the Entity level for the moved Log Source returns data from the original Entity as well as data from the new Entity.

   
   

7. Select a host from the System Monitor Host list.

   Use the Text Filter to refine your search.

   
   

8. Click OK.
