Import and Export Dashboards
You can import and export dashboard files as a way to share your different configurations with others. You can create export files from both saved and unsaved dashboard configurations.
Import Dashboards
To import a dashboard:
- On the upper-right side of the page, click the Dashboard icon.
- At the bottom of the dashboards list, do one of the following depending on your user permission level:
- Global Administrators. Click either Add Public or Add Private depending on the type of view that you want to create from the import.
- All other users. Click Add Private.
- In the edit area, click Upload.
The Open dialog box appears. - Go to and select the dashboard file (.wdlt) that you want to import, and then click Open.
The selected dashboard is uploaded into your dashboard menu.
If a restricted user imports a dashboard that has widgets that are accessible only to Global Admins or Restricted Admins with elevated View and Manage privileges, those widgets will not appear in the imported dashboard.
You can download Dashboards by going to the LogRhythm Community and clicking on the Shareables link on menu at the top of the page. The filters allow you to choose from supported and unsupported Dashboards, as well as ones created by LogRhythm or by other users.
Export Dashboards
To export a dashboard:
- On the upper-right side of the page, click the Dashboard icon.
A list of available dashboards appears. - Click the Edit icon for the view that you want to export.
- In the edit area, click Download.
A copy of the dashboard in its current configuration (whether saved or unsaved) is downloaded to a shared folder where other users can import it into their dashboard menus.
