Configure the Amazon S3 Collector in Axon

The next step after successfully Configuring Amazon AWS is to add the collector type to Axon.

Supported formats for response splits are: TXT, LOGS, JSON, JSONL, and QZ.

Add an Amazon S3 Collector

Only Administrators can take this action.

  1. In the lower-left corner of the main screen, click the Administration cog.
    The Administration menu appears on the left side.
  2. Under Integrations, click Collectors.
    The Collectors page appears.
  3. In the upper-right corner, click + Add Collector.
    The Add Collector Wizard appears.
  4. Select Amazon S3 from the list of collector types.
    A list of Log Source Types associated with the Amazon S3 collector appears on the right.
  5. Click Configure.
  6. Enter the following information on the configuration page.
    Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

    OptionDescription
    Collector Name *Enter a unique name for this collector.
    DescriptionEnter an optional detailed description for this collector.
    Access Key ID *Enter the Access Key ID obtained during the steps outlined in Configure Amazon AWS.
    Secret Access Key *Enter the Secret Access Key obtained during the steps outlined in Configure Amazon AWS.
    SQS Queue URL *Enter the SQS Queue URL obtained during the steps outlined in Configure Amazon AWS.
    AWS Region *

    Enter the AWS Region (for example, us-east-1) used during the steps outlined in Configure Amazon AWS.

    Split parameter

    Enter a split parameter to determine the property within the response body that contains the records.

  7. Click Connect to test the collector's connection.
    If the connection is successful, the Amazon S3 collector is added to the list of collectors in Axon.
