Licensing Overview.
Your NetMon license enables your specified, sustained data inspection rate. NetMon can be licensed for sustained inspection rates ranging from 10 to 5,000 Mbps. Additionally, if you are evaluating NetMon, your license specifies the day and time when the evaluation period ends.
If you are using an evaluation license, NetMon displays a warning below the top navigation bar when the license expiration is approaching:
Your license expires in less than a day, on June 1, 2020. Please contact crm@logrhythm.com to purchase a new license.
To view the details of your license:
Open the NetMon Web Management interface.
On the top navigation bar, click the Help icon, and then click About NetMon.
The license page appears.
The following details are provided on the license page:
License Detail | Description |

Product License | The edition of NetMon in use, and the licensed data capture rate. |
Master License ID | The master license ID for your version of NetMon. |
Application Version | The version of NetMon that is installed. |
IP Address | The management interface IP address of the computer where NetMon is installed. |
MAC Address | The management interface MAC address of the computer where NetMon is installed. |
Machine ID | A unique identifier of the computer where NetMon is installed. |
End User License Agreement | The NetMon end user license agreement. |
