Change the Diagnostics Time Period

This section describes how to change the time period shown in the Diagnostics charts.

1. Open the NetMon Web Management interface.

2. On the top navigation bar, click Diagnostics, and then click the Duration tab.
   When you change the duration, the Refresh rate of the chart data may also change. For example, if you switch from 15 minutes to 1 hour, the Refresh rate changes from 5 seconds to 1 minute.

   

   If you select a duration that exceeds the length of time your NetMon deployment has been collecting data, the Diagnostics chart defaults to a shorter time period and only displays available data. For example, if your NetMon deployment has only been running for 15 minutes, and you set the duration to 7 days, Diagnostics charts defaults to a duration of 15 minutes.
