Proxy Support

Some LogRhythm NDR services communicate with third-party APIs via the internet. For security environments that require network access with restrictive network controls, users can configure LogRhythm NDR to send all outgoing internet traffic through a non-transparent proxy server.

Configure a Proxy

1. Log in to the LogRhythm NDR UI as an Administrator.

2. Click the Settings tab.

3. In the drop-down menu, click Operational, and then click Proxy.
   The Proxy screen appears.

4. In the Proxy URL field, enter the proxy information in the following format: 
   http://username:password:IP address:port/
   

   EXAMPLE

   http://ProxyUser:NormalP@ss@:1.1.1.1:8081/

   Username. ProxyUser

   Password. NormalP@ss@

   IP Address. 1.1.1.1

   Port. 8081

   
   

5. To activate the proxy, click the Active check box.

   The check box changes to blue with a white check.

   To deactivate an active proxy, click the check box. The check box changes to white.

   
   

6. Click Submit.
