This page uses adding filters to an Alarm Rule as an example. The names of windows and setting options vary slightly depending on where you are creating or modifying a filter.
On the Information tab of the Filter Editor you are required to enter a name for the alarm rule, and you have the option of entering additional information.
To configure name and description information

Type a name in the Alarm Rule Name field.

Click the ellipsis [...] button at the end of the Alarm Rule Group field.
The Alarm Rule Group Assignment window appears. -
Type a name in the Assign New Alarm Rule Group or select an existing Alarm Rule Group.

Click OK.

(Optional) Type a brief description.
The Description column appears in the Alarm Rules tab. -
(Optional) Type any other relevant information in Additional Details.

Click OK.
