Query Computers with Windows Host Wizard

After the computers are added by the domain scan and/or the text import, a query can be performed on all selected computers for installed agents, available event logs, and IP addresses. This step is optional. However, useful information can be identified.

We do not recommend querying computers for hosts without static IP addresses (for example, workstations).

1. On the main toolbar, click Deployment Manager.
2. On the Tools menu, click Administration, and then click Windows Host Wizard.
   The Windows Host Wizard appears.
3. Check the Action check box for each computer you want to query.

4. Click Query Computers or right-click and click Actions, then click Query Computers.
   The appropriate columns are populated in the grid.
