Load Balanced Group Manager

You must be logged in as an Administrator to take this action.

The Load Balanced Group Manager allows administrators to add and modify load balanced groups. To access the Load Balanced Group Manager:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Deployment Manager.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Administration, and then click Load Balanced Group Manager.
    The Load Balanced Group Manager window appears.

After upgrading to LogRhythm 7.11 for the first time, a "Default" load balanced group is created. This default group cannot be edited or deleted.

All Agents that were previously marked as load balanced are automatically added to the Default load balanced group. They can be added to a new load balanced group using the steps outlined at Assign Agents to a Load Balanced Group.

If multiple load balanced groups are not needed, all Agents can be left in the Default group.

Load Balanced Group Manager Actions

Right-clicking on a load balanced agent group in the Load Balanced Group Manager window displays four actions:

NewClicking New opens a pop-up allowing you to create a new load balanced agent group. Enter a unique name and description, and then click Ok.

Right-clicking on an existing load balanced agent group and then clicking Delete removes the load balanced agent group from the list.

Attempting to delete a load balanced group with associated agents displays an error message.

Associated agents must first be removed before the load balanced group can be deleted.

Restart all AgentsClicking Restart all Agents restarts all agents that are associated with the selected load balanced agent group.

Clicking Properties opens a pop-up with the load balanced agent group's name and description. 

Make any changes as necessary, and then click Ok.
