Select Query Location

When you run a search in the Web Console, you can search the Platform Manager, one or more specific Data Processors, or all available log repositories. Setting a query location allows you to select the log repositories you want to search by default.

To set the repositories to query:

  1. On the top navigation bar, click the User icon, and then click Settings
    The User Settings dialog box appears.
  2. Click Set Repositories.
  3. Select the repositories you want from the list. You only see repositories to which you have been granted access in your account settings in the Client Console. If you do not select any, the Web Console searches against all available repositories.

  4. Click Save

Search tasks and search results show you which repository was searched. For more information, see Use Search.
