Domains are automatically activated when they are created. You can take the following additional actions on the domains in your deployment.
- On the main toolbar, click Deployment Manager.
- Click the Platform Manager tab.
- In the System Management Settings section, click Active Directory Domain Manager.
- Right-click the grid, click View, and then click Retired Domains. This places a check mark next to Retired Domains in the context menu to indicate they are shown. To hide retired domains, repeat the same process, which then clears Retired Domains in the context menu to indicate they are hidden.
Select the Action check box for the domain or domains you wish to retire, right-click the selection, and then click Actions.
Click Activate or Retire.
When a domain configuration is retired and saved, Include in Scan and Include in Active Directory Synchronization are automatically turned off.
