Export the System Monitor Agent's Local Configuration File

Because there is not a two-way communication between the Agent and the Mediator, the .ini file needs to be copied to the location where the agent resides. Any time a change is made such as adding a log source, the .ini file should be exported and saved to the Agent location.

1. On the main toolbar, click Deployment Manager.
2. Click the System Monitors tab.
3. Check the Action box for the System Monitor Agent whose configuration file is being exported.
4. Right-click the Agent, click Actions, and then click Export Local Configuration File.
   The configurations of the selected Agent is exported to an INI file in the folder specified in the Folder Selector Dialog box. The INI file will be based on the Agent name appended with “_scsm.ini.”
