Add a Single Entity

 Only Global Admins or Restricted Admins with elevated View and Manage privileges can take this action.

To add an Entity to your LogRhythm deployment

1. On the main toolbar, click Deployment Manager.

2. Click the Entities tab.

3. Right-click the Entities pane and select an option from the menu:

   1. Click New Root Entity.

   2. Click New Child Entity.

4. Add values for the Entity Name, Brief Description, and Additional Details.

   

   The Entity Name can be up to 250 characters in length, including spaces. The Full Name can be up to 410 characters, including spaces, but it cannot be edited. The Full Name is either the Entity Name or the Root Entity Name plus the Entity Name (Root Entity/Child Entity, for example).

5. Click OK.
