Add a Data Indexer Node

This procedure involves installation processes. For more information, see the LogRhythm Software Installation Guide on the LogRhythm Community.

1. Launch the LogRhythm Infrastructure Installer on the Platform Manager (PM).
2. Click Add/Remove Host.
3. Follow the prompts to run the deployment package on the PM.
4. Add the new DX node to the hosts file.
5. Copy the new plan file to the Data Indexer (DX) install node.
6. On the DX install node, run the DX installer using the new plan file.
7. Verify the deployment status.
