Delete Entities

Only Global Admins or Restricted Admins with elevated View and Manage privileges can take this action.

To delete existing entities

1. On the main toolbar, click Deployment Manager.
2. Click the Entities tab.
3. In the Entity hierarchy on the left, select the Entity you want to delete.

4. Retire any Hosts and Delete any Networks associated with that Entity.

   

   If there are Users, People, or User Profiles associated with that Entity, you also need to remove those associations in order to delete the Entity. For more information on how to modify those records, see People and Users.

5. Select the Entity you want to delete.

6. On the main toolbar, click Delete.

7. Click Yes.

In some cases, it may be simpler to rename an Entity than to delete it. For more information, see Modify Entities.
