Open Collector

LogRhythm Cloud-to-Cloud (C2C) facilitates the creation, management, and collection of cloud log source information through a user interface in the Web Console. C2C credentials are used to provide a safe and secure collection method — Open Collector with Beats or a System Monitor Agent. 

LogRhythm Cloud customers can request a fixed-size Open Collector with a maximum sustained collection rate of 2000 messages per second (MPS) from no more than six Beat instances (for example, four Azure Event Hub beats and two AWS S3 beats). Open Collectors can be requested through a support case. LogRhythm will host a System Monitor Agent in the cloud for the collection of Syslog from the Open Collector. This System Monitor Agent, with a maximum collection rate of 5000 MPS, will also be used for collecting cloud log sources that use the System Monitor Agent as their primary collection method.
