Your NetMon license enables your specified, sustained data inspection rate. NetMon can be licensed for sustained inspection rates ranging from 10 to 5,000 Mbps. Additionally, if you are evaluating NetMon, your license specifies the day and time when the evaluation period ends.

If you are using an evaluation license, NetMon displays a warning below the top navigation bar when the license expiration is approaching:

To view the details of your license:

  1. Open the NetMon Web Management interface.

  2. On the top navigation bar, click the Help  icon, and then click About NetMon.
    The license page appears.
    The following details are provided on the license page:

    License DetailDescription
    Product LicenseThe edition of NetMon in use, and the licensed data capture rate.
    Master License IDThe master license ID for your version of NetMon.
    Application VersionThe version of NetMon that is installed.
    IP AddressThe management interface IP address of the computer where NetMon is installed.
    MAC AddressThe management interface MAC address of the computer where NetMon is installed.
    Machine IDA unique identifier of the computer where NetMon is installed.
    End User License AgreementThe NetMon end user license agreement.
