Session Timeout

Administrator permissions are required to access this feature.

Administrators can view and edit the maximum session length for all users in their tenant. To view and edit the maximum session length:

  1. In the lower-left corner of the main screen, click the Administration cog icon.
    The Administration menu appears on the left side.
  2. Under Access Control, click Session Timeout.
    The Session Timeout page appears with the maximum session length displayed in minutes.
  3. To edit the Max Session Length, click Edit Settings on the right side of the page.
    The Edit Session Timeout Settings dialog box appears.
  4. Enter the number of minutes in the Max Session Length field. The available range is 10 minutes to 1440 minutes (1 day).
  5. Click Save.

When the Max Session Length is reached, users will be automatically logged out of the system.

Five minutes before the session expires, users receive a pop-up message in the system indicating they have five minutes remaining in their session. The message recommends that the user save any unfinished work and persists until they click Okay.
