Retire and Reactivate a Collector
Only Administrators can take this action.
Retire and activate actions are only available at the collector level.
Temporarily retiring a collector may be useful when troubleshooting a processing error with a collector or one of its log sources. This allows the admin to pause processing during troubleshooting and mitigate additional incoming noise (error messages, notifications, etc.).
